Kristianne and JV are a reminder of exactly why I do what I do. Their sunrise engagement session was so FUN! It honestly felt like hanging out with old friends. I had been looking forward to meeting this newly engaged couple from our first email exchanges. I could feel Kristianne’s excitement and energy which only fueled my own.

Sunrise light makes me weak at the knees – I’m not kidding, such beautiful and dreamy photos. I was SO pumped driving up to Philly as the sky was hued with pastels. I’m pretty sure my first words to this couple that I had never met were “YOU GUYS! THE SKY! AH! LOVE!” Of course followed by warm “Hello!”

The rain had actually held off (phew!). I later learned that Kristianne and JV had had their run with weather getting into the way of plans i.e. JV’s proposal! Rain had pushed back his plans to propose at their family’s beach house last month. When the rain finally ceased, JV scooted Kristianne down to the beach to find a half buried box in the sand. To her complete surprise an engagement ring was nestled inside. After saying “YES!” their entire family rushed onto the beach to congratulate the newly engaged couple!

So sweeeeeeet! I just love a good engagement story ♥
