In a normal year, by June I’d be well into prime wedding season. However, we all know 2020 is a different kind of year. June 6th was just the start of the coming season, wildly and distinctively different, but incredibly wonderful and refreshing. In the months and weeks leading up to their wedding day, the state of COVID shifted constantly leaving Catherine and Arthur with much anticipation as to whether their day would even happen. They finally made the difficult decision to cancel their large wedding entirely and focus on what really mattered – their love, their marriage and a lifetime together.
This sweet couple not only exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony, but were able to have the full wedding day they dreamed of (well, almost). From getting ready with Catherine’s sisters, to the beautiful church ceremony and intimate dinner celebration with their loved ones, I was thrilled to be there to capture their wedding day story.
Despite everything going on in the world, it was such a joyous occasion to see two people in love still be able to unite in marriage. In times like these, we all need a little dose of happiness, it’s good for the soul.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs. Worthington! Cheers to a lifetime of love, happiness and health.
