I am so excited to share Kelsi and Dylan’s Concordville Inn winter wedding! I first met the couple when I captured the wedding of their friends, Jenna and Timmy. After that, I spoke with Kelsi in May of 2021 regarding their 2022 spring wedding. At the time, these high school sweethearts had two adorable kiddos. Their son, Cruz, and daughter, Charli, were so little at the time! As the end of 2021 drew near, I found out the exciting news that Kelsi + Dylan were expecting their 3rd baby in April! To give them time to adjust to life with a newborn, they decided to move their wedding to December of 2022, well after their sweet, little girl, Chloe, was born.
Needless to say, the excitement on their wedding day was bubbling over! Their happiness and joy was contagious as both Kelsi and Dylan were so excited to finally be married and celebrate this moment. They have been together for years and have a beautiful family together, but now it was their time! I love that their kids were included throughout the whole day!
Kelsi’s two girls, Charli and Chloe, got ready with their mom and the bridesmaids, while Cruz hung out with the guys! Kelsi’s dress featured long, floral lace sleeves with a higher lace neckline, perfect for their winter wedding! Her daughters wore similar dresses with long, lace sleeves. Once everyone was ready, Kelsi had a first look with Cruz, while Dylan shared a first look with Charli and Chloe. I love that they chose not to do a traditional first look with each other and shared this special moment with their kids. Having not seen each other prior to the wedding ceremony, both were eager to see each other for the first time as Kelsi walked down the aisle.
After a beautiful ceremony, the couple headed outside to capture their wedding portraits! Thankfully, the weather cooperated, as rain was forecasted. At the last moment the skies cleared – a wedding miracle! – allowing us to capture portraits outside, which were a mixture of family portraits and traditional wedding portraits of just the newlyweds.
The couple planned a sparkler photo with their wedding party right before the reception, which I thought was a brilliant idea! It was a great photo opportunity that didn’t have to wait until the end of the night. Sparkler exits and traditional “send offs” are occurring less as more couples are opting for wedding after parties. After their sparkler entrance, Kelsi and Dylan shared a private moment inside Concordville Inn‘s ballroom before the guests arrived. They danced and twirled in preparation for a good night ahead, and a good night it was!
It brings me so much joy to see this amazing couple finally share this moment together. Kelsi and Dylan have a beautiful family and were finally able to have the wedding of their dreams. Looking at their wedding images and seeing the joy on their faces warms my heart!
Cheers, Kelsi and Dylan, to a lifetime of love, happiness, and laughter!
