Capturing Emily and Pat’s dreamy Old Mill Fall Wedding day was a delight! I love looking back over the images from their early November wedding day and seeing the joy dancing across everyone’s faces!Their wedding day started with the couple getting ready at their separate locations. Emily readied with her bridesmaids who wore matching pjs and shared many laughs together. 

I loved all the details and soft, romantic colors of their wedding. Emily’s beautiful wedding bouquet by Botaniq Blooms, featured a lovely arrangement of white, blush, and peach flowers. Emily also had a custom, blue jean jacket that featured her new last name on the back! Once ready, Emily shared a first look with her father outside. His reaction was priceless. It was such a sweet moment that I am sure will forever be remembered by them both. Immediately following Emily’s first look with her father, she prepared herself to share a special first look with Pat. 

Their First Look

Moments before their first look, Pat’s mother helped him with his boutonniere. Pat also wore his grandfather’s cufflinks, which was extra special to him. There, under a beautiful tree still decorated with brightly-colored fall leaves, Emily and Pat stole first glances at one another. The weather was perfect with the sun shining down and puffy white clouds dotting the sky. The couple also wanted photos with their energetic pup, Robbie! Robbie was also a part of Emily and Pat’s engagement session which took place on our farm. It was Emily’s wish to have a few photos with Robbie on their wedding day as well. I was so excited Robbie was able to make an appearance before the wedding. We were able to capture some great reactions outside the church. Pat and Emily then headed to their wedding ceremony and Robbie was off to play with a puppysitter. 

The couple’s beautiful wedding ceremony took place at Saint Thomas The Apostle Church. Emily’s 10-month old niece, Sawyer, was the sweetest little flower girl! She happily sat in her wagon decorated with white wedding flowers as she was pushed down the aisle. The couple exchanged vows and exited the church wearing the biggest smiles. 

The Old Mill Fall Wedding

The couple then went on to celebrate at the enchanting Old Mill wedding venue at Rose Valley. Having their reception at The Old Mill was incredibly special to Emily and Pat as Pat’s parents had their wedding reception at this very location years ago. This stunning PA venue has a breathtaking natural setting with acres of woods, creeks, and old stone ruins. I loved exploring the property grounds and capturing the newlyweds’ wedding portraits. 

The reception incorporated more elegant and romantic details with white and dusty pink flower centerpieces, gold tableware, and blue napkins. Since Robbie couldn’t attend the reception, Emily and Pat found a way to include him by featuring his face on the cocktail napkins and adding a figurine of him on the cake. It was such a sweet tribute to their fur-baby.  In addition to the regular reception activities, the couple also had a tv out in the cocktail space for guests to watch the Phillies who were in the world series!  All the fans appreciated that!

It was a perfect day from beginning to end and I am so thankful to have been a part of it! Emily is such a sweet and kind person and the two of them together are a perfect balance. I enjoyed getting to know them both and witnessing this next chapter of their love story begin! Congratulations, Emily and Pat!
